GrowThenDraw publishes educational calculators and explanations for people comparing long-term investment and withdrawal scenarios. Accuracy, visible assumptions and honest limitations take priority over traffic, advertising or a persuasive result.

Authorship and accountability

Content is published under the organization byline GrowThenDraw Editorial Team. This protects the maintainers' personal privacy while identifying the organization responsible for every page. The byline is not a claim that the team is a licensed financial adviser, accountant or tax professional.

Source hierarchy

Financial rules are checked first against primary authorities: tax agencies, government departments, legislation, regulators and official plan administrators. Secondary sources may help identify an issue, but they do not replace an available primary source for a tax rate, threshold, allowance or legal rule. Important sources are linked from the relevant calculator or methodology page and dated to the tax year they support.

Calculator verification

Formulas, timing conventions, tax scope and exclusions are documented on the methodology page. Calculation engines are covered by automated tests, including boundary values and hand-checked examples. A passing test does not make a projection a forecast: returns, inflation and future tax rules remain uncertain and editable.

AI-assisted work

AI-assisted tools may support research organization, drafting, code development and quality checks. AI output is not accepted as an authority and is not given an author byline. Financial claims must be checked against the cited source or removed, and the GrowThenDraw Editorial Team remains responsible for the published result.

Updates and corrections

Dates are changed only when a page or its underlying rules are meaningfully reviewed. Material calculation errors and outdated statutory figures receive priority. To report an issue, email contact@growthendraw.com with the page, disputed figure and supporting source. Corrections are tested before publication.

Editorial independence and revenue

GrowThenDraw does not currently sell financial products or personalised advice. If the site later uses advertising, sponsorships or referral links, they will be labelled and will not purchase a favourable calculation, ranking or conclusion. Calculator outputs do not change based on commercial relationships.
